Dare to Lead™

We all want our leaders to be brave and courageous - but do they know what that actually means?

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead is an empirically based courage-building program.

Brené Describes a leader as “anyone who is responsible for finding the potential in people and processes and has the courage to develop that potential”

The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable.

Sara Nanayakkara is a Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator, trained by Brené Brown herself. This workshop will focus on developing these courage-building skills to help individuals, teams and organizations move from armoured leadership to daring leadership.

We’ll teach them to be brave and courageous – all based on Dr Brown’s research and evidence.

The teachable skills sets are:

  • Rumbling With Vulnerability
  • Living Into Our Values
  • BRAVING Trust
  • Learning To Rise

The programme is highly interactive, and intuitively facilitated. The workshop does not require participants to have read Brené Brown’s latest book ‘Dare to Lead’. Participants that have read the book and downloaded the companion workbook will experience interactive opportunities to practice and engage with other leaders.

There are videos from Brené and exercises that are exclusive to the programme. Delegates will receive an 86page workbook that giving long lasting opportunity to reflect and revisit. Participants will receive a certificate on completion of the 16 hours, and a badge for their LinkedIn profile.

We need Brave Leaders. This is the only skills workshop that will show them how.
